About Us

Anne of Loudounville is a beautiful, intimate store in the Victorian
holiday town of Helensburgh, near Loch Lomond. Celebrating its 21st birthday
this year, the store is owned and run by mother and daughter team Anne
Mitchell and Morag Clinch.

With a focus on distinctive design and outstanding quality, the designer
handbags, jewellery, accessories and gifts in-store and on-line are very
carefully selected by Anne and Morag to bring “a little bit of SW1”
to their loyal and ever growing customer base.
The website was set up in 2004, revamped in 2007, and has successfully
brought the Anne of Loudounville shopping experience to a wider audience,
both in the UK and further a field.
Always on the look out for something special, Anne of Loudounville offers
a unique mix of coveted pieces both from new and from more established
designers. Brands include Lulu Guinness, Lapponia, Longchamp, Boudoir
Belle, Guy de Jean, Butler & Wilson, Frank Usher and Elisa.
Anne’s roots are in South West Scotland, near Loudoun Castle, and
her late husband Andrew ministered in Loudounville, New York for a time,
so the choice of name for the shop was clear from the outset!
Beginning by selling fine chocolates, Anne has evolved the business over
time, and continues to do so. By listening to customers and watching the
market carefully, Anne and Morag consistently provide interesting, special,
indulgent ‘must haves’ for the discerning woman and those
special to her.
